The District has many existing assets such as a sound infrastructure, good connectivity by road, landscaping, and historic landmarks.

 

a: Landscaping initiatives undertaken by the City of Panama City have enhanced the Martin Luther Kind Jr. Boulevard

 

b: The District possesses a sizeable housing stock. Many residential units in   the District showcase the local characteristic and tastes in architecture

 

c: Existing commercial buildings are envisioned as the backbone of the   commercial development of the District. Such commercial assets will be further bolstered with newer developments.

 

d: Several major intersections in the District connect it to other important   locations in the Panama City area. Such intersections possess the potential to be   developed into major gateways and pedestrian crossings for the District.
