Barbeque and Red Velvet Cake Contest. Held annually, the Barbeque and Red Velvet Cake Contest is a friendly competition among the culinary talent of the   Glenwood area and attracts visitors from all over the Panama City area.

Gumbo Git Down: The Gumbo Git Down has evolved into a much-awaited annual   community event where Southern food is celebrated. Contestants bring their family   recipes for Gumbo and Peach Cobbler for judges to taste. Visitors enjoy local food   and are entertained by local performers.
